This map shows the current spread of the Coronavirus that originated in China. Each day several thousand more cases are reported and the death toll is slowly rising. I mention this to ask you to pray for our outreach to China. Yesterday I received an email from one of the leaders of our China […]
A few years ago we began posting my sermons (broken into shorter segments and slightly reworded) in Mandarin on a variety of blogs and social media websites in China. The chart below shows the growth of that ministry. We also post those posts on our Chinese website. During the last several years, many of those […]

We’re six days away from #GivingTuesday when we are asking our friends to give $30,000 to help us reach 1 million Chinese Christians through our China Resource Library. We have figured out that it costs us 3 cents to reach a new person in China. That’s possible because the internet makes it possible to reach people very […]

This is Enoch, one of the students in my Daniel class at Word of Life Bible Institute in Korea. He is the first student ever from mainland China. He had to leave after my second class this morning to go back to China to renew his visa. Here’s the kicker. He can only get a […]
Check out this 94-second video about our latest China project. We’re translating my sermon series on the Apostles Creed into Mandarin. We’re doing this because we want to strengthen the growing church in China. Reliable estimates put the number of Christians in China at more than 100 million, perhaps as many as 130 million. Despite decades of […]
What do you when it’s time for the Christmas Eve party in China but you don’t have a car? You hop on two ancient electric scooters, strap Violet on Josh’s chest, put Marlene and Leah and Knox on one scooter, add the gifts and goodies for the party, and put Josh and me and […]

For reasons I can’t quite ...
