While recovering at home from my broken ankle, I have been working on a new edition of Keep Believing. In 1997 Moody Publishers printed the first edition. Several years ago they gave the publishing rights back to me. For a long time, I’ve wanted to issue an updated edition. I’m happy to say that the […]
Here’s the best book I’ve read recently. Steal Away Home tells the amazing story of the friendship between Charles Spurgeon, the famous London preacher, and Thomas Johnson, a freed slave who studied at Spurgeon’s Pastor’s College. It’s an odyssey of friendship between two very unlikely men who found common ground in Jesus Christ. Highly recommended.

Every part rings true to me. Messy Grace by Caleb Kaltenbach What happens when a young man raised by gay parents becomes […]

But God had bigger plans. Fast forward to 2015. There are now 823,000 copies in print. That’s a stupendous […]
“The Christian life is not a playground; it is a battleground.” Warren Wiersbe We’re in a battle every day. If we take seriously Paul’s call to “Put on the whole armor of God” (Ephesians 6:11), then we know that we need to pray. But how should we pray when we go into battle? My friend […]
