“I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord.” This is the Jesus of the Bible. This is the Christ we worship today.

Text: Hebrews 11:13-16Blessings come to those who tithe and amazingly, Malachi 3:11 states that God will keep certain bad things from happening when we give Him our first fruits. When we give, we put ourselves in a position to trust God to meet all my needs. In addition, God declares in verse 12 that His plan for global evangelization will be met. Can you imagine what would happen to the cause of missions if every believer would give at least 10% to kingdom purposes?
Text: Malachi 3:6-12Jesus sometimes puts us in the fire in order to purify us until He can see His image in us. Remember that He prunes so that we can grow because He is much more interested in our character than He is in our comfort. He takes His launderer’s soap and cleans us so that we’re forgiven. Isaiah 1:18: “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”
Text: Malachi 2:17-3:5Getting married today is like flying an airline where you know that 50% of the planes that take-off will crash. The odds are stacked against marathon marriages today but God never intended couples to experience marital meltdown. If you’re married, or planning to get married, God wants you to have a marriage that lasts forever.
Text: Malachi 2:10-16You may be in the same spot and you just don’t know it. You feel like a boulder of sin has trapped you. You can’t think of a way out. Maybe you’re just going through the motions as a Christian. It’s time to get out the sword of the Spirit and do whatever it takes to regain your first love. Don’t play church with God anymore. He wants you back on your feet so that you don’t get wiped out by your fatal flaws. And He wants to use you to lead others upward. Are you willing to let Him do that through you?
