Since patience means “slow to get angry,” we’ll focus on some of those things that cause us to burn with anger so that we can learn the discipline of waiting.

At the same time, He loved a good party and was constantly looking to bring healing to lives of people. He is the revealer, the confronter, the partier, and the healer.

When the blind man was asked who Jesus was, he simply gave a testimony to what the Savior had done in his life. Matthew, on the other hand, liked to throw parties and focused on his interpersonal skills.

Other times, we have the opportunity to sow by sharing the gospel message. And, on occasion, we have the privilege of participating in the harvest! In whatever stage God chooses to use us, we are part of the redemptive process. Is there anything more exciting than that?

As light, we have the privilege of pointing people to the true light of the world. Our challenge is to make sure we are “out of the saltshaker” and that we don’t hide what we have from others.
Text: Matthew 5:13-16On this Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, we need to be reminded of the tremendous value that Jesus places on both children and adults. Jesus not only serves as our example, He also gives us a mandate to treat everyone with the same dignity and worth that He does. The preborn matter to God – and so do you! As we care for those who are less fortunate, God will give us opportunities to rescue the perishing, we will impact our culture, and we will point people to the Savior.
