God intends for the church to become a body of committed, loving truth-tellers. Easy to say, hard to
do.
We can’t look to the past and focus on what others have done for Christ. Nor can we live in the future, thinking about what the
children of today might do thirty years from now. The only generation we can reach is our own.
If you’ve been running, here is some good news. It is never too late to stop running from God.
Text: Jonah 1:4-17The people of the world can do without our sermons, but they can’t live without our prayers. And if they get our prayers, they might one day listen to our sermons.
Text: Jonah 1:4-17When we have nothing, God gives us so much that we have plenty to share with others.
Text: Mark 6:37We’ve got connections in heaven. We’ve got a friend at the throne of grace who delights to answer our prayers. Nothing you say will surprise him. Come boldly. Come often. Come to the throne of grace and pour out your heart to God. You will not be turned away.
Text: Hebrews 4:14-16God bless those who love the children God loves.
Text: Psalm 127-128When you have had all you can take, when the world seems to collapse around you, stand up, lift your head, and shout to the skies: His love endures forever!
Text: Psalm 136God invites us to seek his face. He wants us to know him better. It’s not as if our Heavenly Father is hiding himself from us. But we can only have a close relationship with him if we will seek it in prayer.
Text: Ephesians 1:15-23We are still the aroma of Christ to the saved and to the lost. Some believe and are saved. Others reject and are lost. That was true 2000 years ago, and it is still true today.
Text: 2 Corinthians 2:12-17
