Did Mickey Mantle Go to Heaven? Why I Believe in the Forgiveness of Sin
by Ray Pritchard

To be saved, you must first realize that you can’t save yourself. As long as you hold on to your self-righteousness, you cannot be forgiven. Being a Christian means you’ve come to Christ and you’ve come by faith to the cross. It means that He’s the one that will come into your heart and forgive your sin and change your way of life.

The God We Hardly Know: Why I Believe in the Holy Spirit
by Ray Pritchard

The Holy Spirit does everything to bring us to Christ, everything we need to walk with Christ in this life, and everything we need to take us safely from earth to heaven. He does it all for us and he does it for all of us. None of us could live even one day as a Christian without the aid of the Holy Spirit.

Redemption: Free At Last!
by Ray Pritchard

Of all the names that the Bible gives and of all the names that believers give to Jesus Christ, none is more precious than the name Redeemer. There are other names we use more often, such as Lord and Savior, and rightly so because those too are Bible terms, but no word touches the heart like the word redeemer. When we say Redeemer, we remember what it cost him to save us. Redeemer is the name of Christ on the cross. We remember not only that he gave us salvation, but that he paid a mighty price for it.

When you cheat your boss and do poor, shoddy work, when you’re lazy, when you show up late, when you’re not respectful, conscientious, sincere and eager, you are sinning against God just as much as the cheapest thief on the street.

Servanthood should begin at home. If it doesn’t begin there, it probably won’t be seen anywhere.
