YMCA Trainer Comes to Christ

Dear Praying Friends,

This weekend Ray is in Cary, NC speaking at a conference for Trans World Radio. Since this is TWR’s 60th anniversary and their theme is “speaking hope to the world,” he is speaking on “Everyday Hope for Everyday People.” Pray that his messages will encourage many hearts.

Earlier this week we received the following note:

 “I go to the YMCA several times a week & one of the trainers has been in lots of pain. I heard him make the statement that he would consider taking his life if he thought he would not go to hell.  I had a chance to share the God’s Word with him & gave him your book An Anchor for the Soul and other reading material.  He loved your book & has shared it with his sister who  lives in his home.  I also gave him the Living Bible & he has accepted Christ as his Savior.  PTL  God is at work.”

That’s the amazing power of a “gospel book” when love paves the way. In this case it helped rescue a man from taking his own life. Pray with us for this trainer and also for many others who will read Anchor in the days to come. Multitudes will come to Christ if we will pray and show them the love of Jesus.

Last week we mentioned that we wanted to fill two part-time positions here in Dallas. We’re glad to report that we have hired an Administrative Assistant who will assist Marlene in many of the behind-the-scenes details that keep KBM going. Thank you for praying!

We’re grateful for your love, your support and your prayers. This ministry started in prayer and has continued by prayer. We depend on our friends to keep “praying us up” for the work God has called us to do.
