Year in Review–A Baker’s Dozen

January 5, 2011

Some of the young men we helped train in Mombasa, Kenya.

In the last few days we’ve been wrapping up a very eventful year at Keep Believing Ministries. So what did we do in 2010? Rather than write a long letter, I decided to list a Baker’s Dozen that will give you a quick snapshot of where we’ve been and what God has been doing through this ministry.

In 2010 we . . .

Completed the revision of An Anchor for the Soul.
Ordered 100,000 copies of the new edition of Anchor.
Gave away 35,000 copies of the current edition of An Anchor for the Soul.

Launched a pilot project with The Mailbox Club to reach prisoners in Chattanooga, TN.
Donated books to the 298th CSSB (soon to be deployed to Afghanistan).

Launched the Keep Believing China page.
Launched the Keep Believing Video page.
Gained membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.

Traveled to Uganda and Kenya to teach pastors and church leaders.
Traveled to China to speak at a university and at two house churches and to spend time with Peter Wang, our “Keep Believing man” in China.

Taught Galatians, Daniel and 1 Peter at Bible institutes in NY, FL and Korea, respectively.

Spoke at conferences in NY, MI, NV, TX, CO, PA, FL and OR.
Traveled to Montreal to speak at Missions Globales.

In all these things we keep in mind our purpose: to encourage and equip people to keep believing in Jesus.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit» (Romans 15:13).
