Where China Comes to KBM

January 5, 2013

This is called a Wordle.

It’s a visual display of the cities in China with people who have visited our Mandarin website to listen to the Keep Believing China broadcast.

Larger names mean more people have visited from that particular city. That means the top four cities are Beijing, Jixi, Dalian and Guangzhou. I had never heard of Jixi so I asked Mark where it is located in China. His replay was simple: “It’s near the border of what was Kamchatka on the Risk board.” If you’ve ever played Risk, that’s a perfectly good explanation. When I looked at a map, I discovered it’s a city in northern China above North Korea and near the Russian border.

And what do our Chinese friends find on the Mandarin website?

All 123 (so far) Keep Believing China broadcasts.
The Mandarin audio version of An Anchor for the Soul.
Links to download the Mandarin smartphone apps.
An audio feedback button.

We know that a growing number of people listen to the broadcasts. Just before Christmas we received this note from one of our listeners in China:

Dear Ray and Marlene,

How are you!

Last time, I asked for the information about the broadcast in China, Thanks for the God, I Got it.

I am hopeful to hear the updating broadcast dated on each Monday, Wednesday, Friday, I don’t want to miss any one.

It’s more 3 years that I believe in Jesus, it’s a miracle for me that God moved me on this way, I have no any friends or relatives for this truth, so I know little for Jesus in the past.

Now I like reading Bible, singing the praise song, going to the church every Sunday, and I know, I am not a child, I am not needing milk, but the food,

I know the importance of prayer, I try to learn how to do, but what I learn seems like a kind of theory, I think the prayer must come form  from heart, not a ritual, not a custom.

I need to learn the lessons of prayer, just at this time , your broadcast starts the topic about it, I Don’t know how to express my feeling, it is very very helpful…..

And I don’t want to read your information secretly , and I am sharing my pleasure with you and saying “thank you”.

Another, Pastor Ray can speak Chinese? if the broadcast is from the interpreter,  it’s perfect for the Chinese words, it’s to a point for our understanding.

I like this words” May the Gods open their eyes of heart”……

May our Gods bless your words and open more and more people’s eyes of heart.

There are many new believers in China who are eager to grow in Christ. With your support and with your prayers, we want to help them all.

Thank you again for being part of the KBM family. We hope you’ll check out the Mandarin website and see for yourself all that we offer. You can also find out much more by going to the Keep Believing China page (in English).
