We’ve Almost Reached Our Year-End Goal!

(New update 12/27/2012: Due to the generosity of our friends, we have reached our goal and are now in the black by $11,786. When you hear me say “$46,000” on the video, just remember that we’ve already reached that goal. Thank you for your support!) 

I have some good news to share with you.

On December 1 we set out to finish strong in 2012 by raising $46,000 this month so we could finish the year in the black. 

Due to your generosity, that number has now dropped to $5614.

I just looked at the giving report from last week and was happy to see that we received gifts from friends in 11 states, from New York and New Jersey in the east, to Arkansas, Florida, Alabama and Mississippi in the south, to Indiana and Illinois in the midwest, then southwest to Texas, and all the way west to Montana and Washington.

All year long we’ve seen God raise up prayer and financial support for the China project and the Anchor Book Depot. Today marked our 114th broadcast into China. 

Next year we want to “launch out into the deep.” That includes moving to Dallas to establish an office there and traveling to Haiti and China to teach the Word. Over the weekend I received a note from our friend Peter Wang asking us to come to China to lead pastors conferences next year. 

We hope to do that by God’s grace and with your support.
