Welcome to the New KBM Website

Today we are rolling out the “new” Keep Believing website.

This is the culmination (but not the end!) of a process that started two years ago. It represents the first major redesign of our website since 2008. In the years since then, we have seen the rise of social media, podcasting, video, and the spread of the Internet around the world. Six years ago the iPhone had just been introduced and the Android was coming online. The iPad would arrive in 2010.

Today it’s hard to remember a world without Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Almost everyone has a smartphone.
Ditto for the iPad.

We have redesigned our website with four principles in mind:

1. We know that 70% of our traffic goes to the sermons on our website. That percentage rises sharply just before Christmas and Easter. Put simply, we’re a sermon resource for pastors and Bible teachers around the world. In the old design, you had to search to find our sermons. Not anymore. We’re put them on the front page of the website.

2. We know that many people find us through social media so we have optimized our site to make it easy for you to share our material on Facebook and Twitter.

3. We want you to know the latest news so we have put a slider on the front page that cycles through our newest sermons, news about coming events, and other ministry updates.

4. We used a “responsive” design so that the website format correctly on your smartphone or your tablet. That means that when you come to us on your iPhone, our software recognizes that and shifts things around so that you can see things easily on the small screen on your phone. The same thing happens when you visit us on an iPad or other tablet. The website automatically resizes itself for optimum viewing on your device.

We hope you’ll take time to explore the different parts of the website. Everything you liked on the old website is still here. Some of it looks the same. Some of it has been redesigned. Plus we have a number of new features, such as the “Most Popular Sermons” section.

I want to give a shout out to Derek Taylor, our webmaster, for his hundreds of hours of hard work over many months to get this new site ready to launch. For those who may be interested, we’re now operating on a WordPress platform using the Clear Bootstrap theme.

Although we have worked very hard to make the move seamless, we know there will be some glitches we haven’t found. We particularly want to hear from folks who view the website on your smartphone or on your tablet. We’re tested and retested, but we know there are more tweaks we need to make. So please let us know what you like and what you think needs to be fixed.

If you find a problem, you can use the Comment feature to let us know or you can use the Contact Us form at the bottom of the page. Either way we want your feedback. Your suggestions will help us make the website more useful to the thousands of people who visit us from around the world.

Please take a look around and let us know what you think.
