Welcome to the “New” Keep Believing Website

June 6, 2008

Welcome to the “new” Keep Believing website. I put the word “new” in quotes because most of the site looks exactly as it did before. The weblog is the one page that looks different than before. We have rearranged things to give more prominence to comments from our readers. You now have the ability to sign in using a screen name plus you can upload a picture or image to go with your name, and you can add other personal information if you like. You’ll notice that we are posting the most recent comments on the right-hand side of the page. We have also changed how we display the blog posts—instead of showing the full text of each post, we are now showing the first few sentences plus a picture (if one is included in the entry). This way you can quickly scan each entry, determine which ones you want to read, and then click on “Read More” for each entry.

We have also greatly improved the search engine on the website. If you type in a word or a phrase, the search engine looks through 800+ sermons, several hundred articles, and five years of blog entries to pull up everything on our site relating to your particular search.

We have made these changes in connection with moving the whole website to a new server. Before we had part of the site on one server, but the weblog was hosted somewhere else. Now everything is together in one place. You may notice a few glitches here and there. We’ve worked very hard to fix every glitch, but a few may have slipped through. If you find a problem on the website, please let us know. And thanks for being part of the Keep Believing family.
