Wedding Week Has Arrived

Dear Praying Friends,

These two pictures tell the story of our life at the moment:

Nick and Sarah get married this weekend in Chicago.

Josh and Leah and Knox and Violet leave for China next Tuesday.

This Saturday Nick and Sarah get married in Chicago. They met on eHarmony and then discovered they attended the same church. This weekend our families will celebrate God’s goodness as Nick and Sarah begin their new life together.

Next Tuesday Josh and Leah and Knox and Violet leave for China. Sometimes we think to ourselves, “China! That’s on the other side of the world.” Yes it is, and that makes it hard to say goodbye. But God has so clearly opened this door that we celebrate with them, even if it means celebrating with tears.

On Wednesday we start our longest trip of the year (18 days). We’ll fly to Chicago for the wedding, then on Monday we fly to California for Dallas Seminary Week at Mt. Hermon Conference Center. On August 2 we fly to Oregon for a week of ministry at Cannon Beach Conference Center. If you live near Mt. Hermon or Cannon Beach, we hope you’ll come by and say hello. We love meeting our friends as we travel around the country.

We certainly need your prayers for strength and for God’s help as we celebrate Nick and Sarah’s wedding and also say goodbye to Josh and Leah and Knox and Violet. In just a few days we will have Nick and Sarah in Chicago, Mark and Vanessa (and Eli and Penny) in California, and Josh and Leah (and Knox and Violet) in China.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer. Pray for God’s blessing upon every part of Keep Believing Ministries. Pray for strength and health and changed lives as we minister. Pray that we will be open to all that God has for us.
