Updated Resources

April 23, 2009

A few months ago we opened a no-frills section of the website called Recommended Resources. I call it no-frills because there are no pictures or other fancy designs. If you click on the link, you will see what I mean. We have gathered on one page some of our favorite online resources.

We start with a section called Bible Study Resources for those preparing sermons, Bible studies or Sunday School lessons. You will find my favorite site for online Bible translations as well the amazing free Bible commentaries by Tom Constable. Check out Lambert Dolphin’s links for a veritable cornocopia (seems like a nice combination of words) of links that will take you to some little-known corners of the Internet.

Then we have a section called, simply, Sermons, which contains the sermons of men such as S. Lewis Johnson, John MacArthur, John Piper and Richard Strauss, and others you may not know such as David Legge from Northern Ireland, plus my friends Brian Bill and Phil Newton. We have recently added Vic Pentz, Bruce Goettsche, and a Welsh preacher named Ivor Powell.

Then we have Christian News Resources. Start here if you want to get a Christian perspective on news from around the world.

This morning I added a section called The Church Around the World that focuses on world missions and news from the persectuted church.

It’s all free so please take a moment to check out our Recommended Resources
