Two Helpful ’Da Vinci Code’ Books

February 21, 2006

Here are the two best books I’ve seen evaluating the Da Vinci Code from a biblical and historical point of view:
Breaking the Da Vinci Code by Darrell Bock
The Da Vinci Deception by Erwin Lutzer
Bock offers a detailed analysis of the early history of the Christian church, showing that it offers no support for the Dan Brown’s baseless speculations. Lutzer’s book includes a helpful discussion of why certain books were included and others excluded from the New Testament. Both books end with a presentation of the gospel.
