The Flowers are About to Bloom

post date: April 3, 2020

I bought these Easter Lilies at the local supermarket. It cheers me to think that the rest of the flowers will bloom in the next few days.
With all the current troubles, Holy Week has snuck up on us this year. But here it is, just around the corner, and may I add, just in time. We’ve never needed Easter more than we need it right now.Holy Week starts with a grand entrance that leads to a bloody cross that ends at the empty tomb.
The green buds promise better days to come. They speak of hope that death cannot destroy.
Holy Week is almost here.
Hang on.
The flowers are about to bloom.
