Pray for the Keep Believing Philippines Project

March 23, 2009

This week’s prayer update focuses on the KBM Philippines Project. We’ve attempted to give you a day by day guide for praying for us during the next 2 ½ weeks. We appreciate and depend on your prayer support while we’re away and can’t wait to give you a report of what God is doing in the Philippines when we return.

We plan to post daily blogs and videos on www.keepbelieving.com.

General Requests:

    * Physical health – The foods we’ll be eating are much different than what we’re used to and we’ll all experience fatigue because of the schedule and jet lag. We will be 13 time zones away from Tupelo.
    * Pray for our flights –
We have many connections to make and there are many places where bags can be mishandled. It’s about 27 hours both ways-coming and going. We pray that our bags will arrive when we do.
    * Tolerance of the climate
– the temperatures during the day will be in the 90s with relative humidity readings of 90-95%.
    * Spiritual health
– Please pray that we will be in tune with what God wants to do in and through us while we are gone.
    * Anointing
– Pray that God will anoint the preaching and teaching of the Word so that there is much fruit in the lives of all who hear.
    * Daily Guidance
– Pray that God will open our eyes to minister and be ministered to by those we meet every day. Ask the Lord to guide us in even the smallest conversations we may have.
    * Holy Spirit
– We are asking the Lord to fill us with the Holy Spirit and lead us every step of the way.

Be sure to check the Keep Believing weblog every day for the latest news from the Philippines. We love you all and we thank God for your friendship and your support. We would not take this trip without your prayers.

“One more thing, friends: Pray for us. Pray that the Master’s Word will simply take off and race through the country to a ground-swell of response, just as it did among you” (2 Thessalonians 3:1 MSG).
