Pray for Our Asia Teams
October 25, 2012
In just a few hours, we will have two KBM teams on the way to Asia. We ask for your prayers for both teams.
This morning Mark and Vanessa fly from Dallas to Jeju Island, South Korea for a week of teaching at Word of Life Bible Institute. Mark will teach 1 Peter, and both of them will spend lots of time with the students. From there they fly on to Dalian, China to spend time with Peter Wang and his family. Then they travel to Beijing and Taiyuan to visit with friends. They return to the US on November 13.
This afternoon I leave for China along with Nick, Wesley Wildmon, and Mike Maynard. We will rendezvous in Detroit and then fly over the North Pole to China. We plan to visit friends of our radio ministry in Beijing and Xi’an and also in Taipei, Taiwan. God willing, we return home on November 3.
Pray for journey mercies, for safe passage, for good health, and for many open doors to speak to believers in China. We want to encourage them and to be encouraged by them. Multitudes are coming to Christ every day in China. We’re glad to be a small part of the big thing God is doing in that part of the world.
Pray for Maria (Vanessa’s mom) and for Marlene. Maria is in Dallas taking care of Eli through November 4. After I return, Marlene will fly to Dallas to take care of Eli during the second half of Mark and Vanessa’s trip. Marlene will also take care of things on the home front in Tupelo while I am gone.
