Pictures from the Philippines

April 4, 2009

Here are a few pictures from our visit to Davao City, our time with Pastor Zamar, and our ministry at Bukidnon Seminary. Derek took most of the pictures.

We took this group picture on the last day of the conference.
These young men are students at Bukidnon Seminary.
A good view of the crowd as the seminary ensemble prepares to take the stage.
The ensemble sang several times. They did a great job.
These pretty girls usually sat next to us. L-R Joy-Joy, Irish and Kesia.
Josie and Marlene. Josie is Pastor Zamar’s oldest daughter. She directs the music at the seminary.
Derek preached a great message on Wednesday afternoon.
A fine local eating establishment.
Everyone loves Pastor Zamar. Here he addresses the conference on the final morning.
Pastor Galindo with Pastor Zamar. Pastor Galindo is 92 years old and walks into the mountains to preach in rural villages.
I gave six messages on the life of Peter plus led a Q&A session. I enjoyed speaking this eager group of pastors and students.
We gave away 300 KBM wristbands–all that we had. Here a young boy uses his wristband to hold two tiny birds.
