Pictures from the Anchor Book Depot

July 16, 2007

This morning I visited the Anchor Book Depot in Chicago for the first time. I traveled to the storage facility with Cliff Raad and Skip Olson. Ernie Schulz met us at Hall’s Self-Storage Facility where we rent a locker. Ernie is amazingly organized. He came with UPS shipping labels already filled out. But best of all, he came with a big smile and a ton of enthusiasm. He is so clearly God’s man for this ministry. To enter the facility, Ernie had to enter a security code. We walked down a hallway lined on both sides with lockers. This morning Ernie was getting an order ready to ship to a prison ministry in Logansport, Indiana. Already we have shipped almost 2000 books with more orders yet to be filled. After we finished getting the shipment, we prayed that God would direct each book into the hands of someone who needs to know Jesus.
