Moody Radio Pictures From This Morning

November 14, 2008

This morning I spent an hour on WMBI-FM in Chicago with Nancy Turner. When we arrived at 9:50 AM, I had no idea what we would be talking about. We settled on a topic at 9:55, and once the program started at 10, we never touched the topic. We ended up talking how to deal with the fear that seems to be gripping so many hearts right now.

On the air with Nancy Turner.

Here’s a shot Marlene took from the other side of the studio. That’s producer Roger Basick at the controls.

Producer Roger Basick kept the program flowing seamlessly.

We took several questions from callers including one from “Ole” in Lombard. We always seem to get at least one call from Lombard every time I’m on WMBI.

The Hancock Building shrouded in fog.

We had typical November weather–cloudy with drizzly fog descending on the downtown Chciago skycrapers. Marlene got this shot of the John Hancock building.

Nancy Turner is one of the best interviewers in the business. She knows how to connect with her audience and make them feel like they are part of an ongoing conversation. It’s always great to be on her program.

With Roy Patterson.

After the program we saw Roy Patterson in the hallway. He’s a good friend and omnicompetent as the radio host of “Urban Praise” and also as a pastor in Chicago.
