Matt Chandler Preaches the Gospel

Matt Chandler, pastor of the Village Church in Dallas, preached recently in London. A few months ago he was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. At the beginning of this sermon, he talks about his cancer and what it means for his Christian faith to live knowing that his time on earth may be shorter than he thought. Then he preaches the gospel from the story of the Prodigal Son. At one point he talks about how Jesus wants the “battered rose.”

We can never hear too much good gospel preaching because it is the gospel that saves us and the gospel that sustains us on our long journey from earth to heaven. I commend this message to you and hope you find encouragement from it.
