Many Join in Prayer to Support China Broadcast

March 29, 2012

Thank you!

By the grace of God and through your prayers, the first Keep Believing China broadcast on Monday went without a hitch. By now the second broadcast has already taken place. And the 3rd broadcast begins in 20 hours.

We intentionally started with a series on the Deeper Meaning of the Cross because we wanted a strong focus on the death of Christ to tie in with Good Friday and Easter.

Here are the dates and titles for the first five broadcasts:

March 26  Where Grace and Wrath Meet: What the Cross Meant to God (Romans 3:24-26)
March 28 He Became Sin for Us: What the Cross Meant to Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21)
March 30 “One Little Word Shall Fell Him”: What the Cross Meant to Satan (Colossians 2:15)
April 2 Our Crucified God: What the Cross Means to the Church (Galatians 6:14)
April 4 The Fool on the Hill: What the Cross Means to the World (1 Corinthians 1:18-25)

As you can see, we’re not holding back at all. We’re starting at the very center of the Christian faith. We pray God uses these broadcasts to strengthen the church in China.

If you would like to listen to the Mandarin broadcast from Monday, go to the kBM homepage and click on the link on the right side of the page.

Our friends at TWR produced a two-minute video about our new China partnership. I hope you enjoy watching it.

We are grateful for your prayers. We’ve heard from praying friends in Nova Scotia, Montreal, Newfoundland, Alaska, Texas, Mississippi, Indiana, Alabama, Washington, Illinois, Virginia, Kansas, Idaho, Ohio, Massachusetts, Oregon, Florida, Arkansas, Arizona, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maine, New York, West Virginia, California, Vermont, Michigan, China, Australia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Haiti, India, Japan, Cuba, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, the Philippines, Ecuador, Hong Kong, and South Africa.

Here’s part of an amazing note we received from a friend in Cuba:

Be greeted in the name of Jesus amen. Pastor the Monday was so special we started to pray here from 12:00am with other Cuban pastors because I also informed other church members in Cuba to join us. Monday was so awesome. Please tell also inform me for the next round. I could feel the presence of the Lord it was so wonderful.

God assembled a worldwide army of prayer partners to lift up that first broadcast to the Lord. Thank you for being part of the Keep Believing Prayer Team.

We’ll let you know as feedback comes in from China. We planted a seed on Monday and another one on Wednesday, and God willing, we’ll plant another one on Friday and still more next week and in the weeks to come. With each broadcast we plant a seed that God can use to bring forth a great harvest among the Chinese people.

It’s been an exciting week for us. This would not have happened without your support, your love and your prayers.

God bless you!

Ray and Marlene
