An Unexpected Letter

May 28, 2010

In a ministry like ours, one that is Internet-based, we rarely get a clear glimpse of our impact. But sometimes the Lord draws the curtains back just a little bit. Here’s a portion of a handwritten letter we received recently:

Thank you so very much for all the encouraging sermons over the years. My husband and I were missionaries in the Middle East. At just the right time, you came into our lives and were used mightily of God in our personal lives and the life of our ministry. You were part of the light that encouraged us to “Keep Believing” even in the darkest night.

As God provides our needs, I want to send you something every month……..

Thank you again for everything. We love you and pray for you often.”

This letter thrilled us because it was so unexpected. We all need help and hope from time to time. That’s one big part of what we do. This ministry exists to equip and encourage people to keep believing in Jesus. We are very grateful for these friends and to everyone out there who prays for us and stands with us in this adventure of faith. God bless you all!
