#JesusFinalHours Starts One Week from Today

March 17, 2016

Final Hours Square

What would it be like to walk through the events of Good Friday and Easter Sunday?

We’re going to do that this year by live tweeting the events of Jesus’ last few days. Starting at 3 PM on Thursday, March 24, we will live tweet the events of the Last Supper, Gethsemane, the betrayal, the denial, the arrest and trials of Jesus, his scourging, the journey to Golgotha, and his crucifixion. We’ll follow along through his burial on Friday, the events of “Silent Saturday,” and the world-shaking news on Sunday morning that “He is not here! He is risen, just as he said.”

If you use Twitter, you already know what I’m talking about. But here’s a screenshot of some of the tweets from Good Friday:

Now imagine getting 150 tweets in four days. It’s as close as we can come to going back to those days when our Lord suffered, died, and rose from the dead.

There are 3 easy ways to follow along:

  1. If you are on Twitter, sign up for my Twitter feed at https://twitter.com/raypritchard. Just click the “Follow” button. That’s all you need to do,
  2. Or you can simply go to this hashtag: #JesusFinalHours.
  3. We will also post them in real-time on the KBM Facebook page.

I hope you’ll join us as we walk with Jesus through his final hours. We need to do this because it’s easy to forget what our Lord went through for us.

Please share this with your friends. Spread the word!

Let’s use #JesusFinalHours to draw near to our Lord this holy season.
