Is That in the Bible?

The other day Marlene was chatting with a friend who asked her for some biblical help regarding a question she had. She wanted my wife’s insight because she had asked her boss and wasn’t satisfied with her answer. 

Her boss told her, “It’s like the Bible says, ’Birds of a feather flock together.’”

That’s right up there with other famous “quotations” from the Bible:

“Cleanliness is next to godliness.”

“A stitch in time saves nine." 

And my all-time favorite . . . 

“God helps those who help themselves.”
