I can’t tell you where we are at the moment except that we are in the air somewhere between Chicago and Shanghai. I can report that we’ve been in the air a long time, that we’ve had three meals, and that we have watched at least three movies and a bunch of TV shows. To be truthful, we haven’t exactly watched them all. Part of the time we slept, which in my case was a good idea since I didn’t sleep at all on Friday night. So this long flight (14+ hours) has given us time to rest a bit. In case you are wondering, our seats are in the equivalent of the “nosebleed section” at a football stadium–Row 59. That’s about as far back as you can go. But we have been reasonably comfortable.

At the moment I have 43 messages on my Shuffle, taking up nearly a gig of space (which is all I have). If I listened to all of them, it would take me 26 hours.

The really fine thing about this is that you can hear a ton of good preaching, feed your own soul, and listen to speakers you would probably never hear otherwise. Plus if you lose interest, you just click the button and go to the next one. And when you get tired, you just click it off and go to sleep.

As you tell, I’m hooked. It’s been an encouragement to me to get our Keep Believing podcasting started.

That’s the news from 36,000 feet, somewhere over the Pacific, on our way to Shanghai.
