“I’m No Oddball”

Recently we received a letter from a woman serving time in a Texas prison. Part of her letter is reproduced above. I was struck by what she learned from reading An Anchor for the Soul. She discovered that “I’m no oddball” because we are all sinners in need of a Savior. Near the end of her letter she says, “You truly word things in a way that makes me feel I can be loved and forgiven.”

I’ve often said that An Anchor for the Soul is written in “Walmart English” because anyone can read it and understand its message. We want everyone to know how much God loves them and how they can be forgiven through trusting in Jesus Christ.

In just a few days 100,000 brand-new copies of An Anchor for the Soul will be delivered to our Book Depot in Pontiac, IL. We’re asking God for the $70,000 necessary to cover the cost of printing, storing and shipping those books to ministries that reach out to the lost.

The woman who wrote this letter mentioned “the love I am desperately seeking.” We believe everyone needs to find that love through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Will you help us?
