How People Find Us

March 29, 2008

Earlier today Derek Taylor, our gifted web designer, sent a list of the keywords that people typed into a search engine that led them to the Keep Believing website. All of these searches happened in the last 48 hours. And many of them probably had never heard of this ministry. Here is the list:

what about the the pigmy who never heard of Jesus
remarried-and happy at last
if god is so good why do i hurt do bad
despair and feeling incapable
evil beings in heavenly realms
frustration at unanswered prayer
youth pastor has an affair
god’s love goes beyond death
signs of an unsubmissive wife
how to face your death
how to win a backslider
doubting Thomas sermon
the resurrection a conspiracy?
what day is Jesus coming back?
dads as leaders in the home
can you lose the holy spirit
create in me a clean heart
letter of forgiveness to somebody

We don’t know who these people are or where they live. They could be anywhere in the world. Here are Derek’s words:

Behind these keywords is a real person – some of them deeply hurting, some of them questioning their salvation, some of them feeling immense guilt and shame, some of them rejoicing and some with honest questions about what the Bible says about real issues they are facing.

The keywords give us a glimpse into the hearts of these people–invisible to us but known to the Lord. We pray that God will help us reach them in a tangible way.
