Heading North

July 18, 2009

The Pritchard Traveling Caravan hits the road this morning. After a wonderful week in Florida, it’s time to head north. Yesterday we packed our bags for two flights today–first to Cincinnati, then to Toronto. And yes, this time we remembered to bring our passports

When we get to Toronto, we’re taking a bus to Elim Lodge, a Christian conference center in Peterborough. I’ll begin a week of ministry there tomorrow morning.

So we’re on the move again. According to Google Maps, it’s 1411 miles from Hudson, FL to Peterborough, Ontario. By toinght the hot and muggy weather of central Florida will be a memory, and we’ll be digging out our long sleeve shirts.

Heading North

May 22, 2008

I am writing this note at 5:44 AM on Wednesday morning. I’m up early because in a few hours we will be on the road again. We plan to spend tonight in Chicago and then travel tomorrow to Camp Forest Springs in Westboro, Wisconsin. That’s north of Madison, north of Stevens Point, and north of Green Bay. I’m speaking at the Memorial Day Weekend Family Camp that starts on Saturday morning. This is also the 50th anniversary of the camp, and we’re excited and honored to be part of the celebration.
