He Read “Anchor for the Soul” in the Cook County Jail

May 30, 2015

Two weeks ago we started a campaign to raise $70,000 to print 100,000 copies of An Anchor for the Soul that we will donate to evangelistic ministries in the US. In the last 15 years we have given away over 700,000 copies of this little “gospel book.” Our largest partnership has been with Prison Fellowship and Good News Jail and Prison Ministries. Now we work with prison chaplains across the country.

A young man named Nick Santiago happened to read Anchor for the Soul in the Cook County Jail. The video tells what happened next.

I’m happy to report that we have received $11,315 so far, which equals 16% of our goal. That means we’ve raised enough to print, store and ship 16,100 copies of Anchor for the Soul to prison ministries, military ministries, rescue missions, street ministries, crisis pregnancy centers, homeless shelters, outlaw biker ministries, and other evangelistic outreaches.

We need your help to reach our goal of $70,000. Please take a moment to visit our Anchor for the Soul 15th Anniversary Page. Your gift of $70 pays for a box of 100 Anchors.

Thank you for your love, your gifts, and your prayers. With your help, we will reach many people just like Nick Santiago who need to know Jesus.
