Good Words for Today

Joyful, all you nations, rise, Join the triumph of the skies; With the angelic host proclaim, "Christ is born in Bethlehem!"

Lord Jesus, grant that in all my going and coming that I might not be too busy for you. You are welcome in my heart and my home today! Amen.

Christ came for broken people who aren't ashamed to admit it. If that’s you, then good news. Christ came for you!

His kingdom will never end. Why would you follow anyone else?

Christians pray in Jesus’ name because there is no power in any other name to answer our prayers.

Take a breath and give thanks. Without Jesus you wouldn’t breathe at all.

We all need to be born again. Jesus said we must be born again. Without it, none of us will ever see the kingdom of God.

Many people think that the more they talk, the more they have communicated. Usually the opposite is true.

We run from God rather than to him because we know our own hearts all too well and his barely at all.

When Jesus saves, he saves completely. When he forgives, he forgives all my sins. When he sets free, we are free forever.

Almighty God, increase my faith so that I might believe without wavering that you are greater than all my problems. Amen.

Only God knows what he can do through us. All he asks is that we surrender what we have to him and then watch what he can do with it.

In the end 99% of life turns out to be humdrum. Yet out of the humdrum God is weaving a beautiful unseen pattern.
