Good Words for Today: August 19

post date: August 19, 2019
In one of his sermons, Alexander Whyte said that if your sin has found you out, come clean, admit the truth, own up to what you have done, and then cry out, “O Lord, is your name Jesus? And do you save sinners from their sin?” Then tell the Lord you are the chief of sinners. In fact, Alexander Whyte advised his hearers to lie down on the floor and beg for mercy. You need not think it too much to do, he said, for “the Son of God did it for you on the floor of Gethsemane.”
If you cry out Jesus, he will not turn you away.
