Good News from a Distant Land

post date: August 25, 2013
“Like cold water to a weary soul,
So is good news from a distant land”

(Proverbs 25:25).

When Spurgeon wrote about this, he said, “No sinner ever did seek Jesus Christ by faith in vain. This, surely, is good news from a far country.»

Are you thirsty today? Then get ready to be filled because there is “good news from a distant land.” Jesus has come for you. If you come to him, you will not be turned away.
