Good Morning from the Philippines
March 31, 2009
Good morning from the Philippines. Today is a huge day for us. I start speaking at 7:30 AM and speak four times, the last one being at 7 PM. Pray for stamina and for clarity and anointing and for my voice to hold out.
We had fine start to the conference last night. I introduced my series on “Beyond Denial: Seeing Ourselves in Peter’s Story,” and Pastor Rudy Escobar preached (partly in the local dialect and partly in English) on what it means to be a servant. We meet outdoors on a covered basketball court with a stage. I could hear the animals nearby, including the roosters crowing at 9 PM.
We have many pictures but the hectic schedule and limited Internet means it will be another day or so before we can post them
We have enjoyed the Filipino believers because they are open, friendly, very kind, and very outgoing. Wonderful to be with them.
Keep praying! There have been many unusual things happen on this trip, including one I will mention later, that make me believe that this is true spiritual warfare.
