Good Morning from New Brunswick

January 30, 2009

I am writing this note from the Lehman Strauss Cabin on the campus of New Brunswick Bible Institute. The cabin is named for the famous Bible teacher of the last generation who came many times to NBBI to teach the students. He donated money for this very nice guest house built on the hillside above the main part of the campus.

This morning I speak to the students in chapel at 10 AM. The main event starts this evening when over 400 men from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Maine (and other nearby provinces and states) will gather for the annual Men for God Rally (pdf).

Mr. Beebe, the president of NBBI, says it has been a bit colder here than usual. Two days ago they got a foot of fresh snow. Right now the temperature is -4 F and outside my window the sun is shining. I think we’re going to have a great day here in New Brunswick.
