Dear Praying Friends,

We knew we would be busy in the first part of 2015.

But there are always a few surprises along the way.First, some happy news. A little over a month ago, our newest grandchild Zoe arrived. She was welcomed by Mark and Vanessa and by her brother Eli and her sister Penny. We are glad to say she is doing very well.

At almost the same time Marlene had unexpected eye surgery to correct a detached and torn retina. During her recovery period, she has been unable to travel. We’re grateful for the progress she has made, but we need your prayers for a full and complete recovery.

Meanwhile Ray was on the road in February speaking at America’s Keswick, then teaching the book of Ezra at Word of Life Bible Institute in South Korea, then home for four days, and then he traveled to Uganda to teach Galatians at the brand-new Word of Life Africa Bible Institute. Our friend Tom Renard traveled with Ray to Uganda. We are very grateful for the opportunity to teach the next generation of Christian leaders in Asia and Africa.

On Friday we left for a week of ministry at Word of Life Florida. This will be our 24th year to speak at the conference center. We would appreciate your prayers for safe travel (we’re driving, not flying) and for God’s blessing on the messages.

Meanwhile things are moving forward in all parts of KBM. We are reorganizing our China website to make it more useful to Mandarin-speaking pastors and Christian workers. Just yesterday we heard about an exciting new opportunity to make the Mandarin version of An Anchor for the Soul available to every church in China. At the same time we are working with Moody Publishers on plans to reprint another 100,000 copies of An Anchor for the Soul in English.

I’m happy to report that over 8000 people downloaded the free Lenten ebook In His Steps. There is still time for you to join us on this journey through the life of Christ. Just click on the link to download your free copy.

Thank you for being part of the Keep Believing Prayer Team. We truly need your prayers. Please pray that God will give Marlene complete healing from her eye surgery. We also need strength to do all that God has put before us. There are plenty of open doors in every direction. As a ministry, we need God’s wisdom to make the right choices.

Let us know how you are doing and how we can pray for you.

God bless you!

Ray and Marlene
