Email Update—Three Ways You Can Help Us

December 14, 2008

A few days ago I mentioned that the weekly sermon email (sent to 5200 people) has been blocked by AOL for the last six weeks. Due to the high level of spam on the internet today, specific email services, spam blocking services or internet providers temporarily block KBM email as well as other legitimate email.

After working on this for several weeks, Derek Taylor (our webmaster) tells me that he thinks we have the problem solved. We’ve gotten the green light from AOL so next week’s sermon should get through.

If you are on the sermon email list, there are three things you can do that will help get the sermons to your inbox. These three things apply to everyone on the sermon list, not just to AOL subscribers.

1. Check your “Spam” box to see if the message has been flagged as potential spam.

2. If the email has been marked as spam or placed in a spam folder, there will usually be a link or button at the top and/or bottom of the email where you can click “Approve Sender” or “Not Spam” or something similar. Please click this button because it will improve our Internet mail “reputation” for all of our subscribers.

3. Please take a moment to add us to your address book. Specifically, if you add “Ray Pritchard” and also place my email address ray@keepbelieving.com in your address book, this will also help you as well as others receive our email.

Thanks for your patience and your support!
