Christmas in Asia
December 18, 2014
Dear Praying Friends,
We’re on our way to Asia!
By the time you read this we’ll be in the air. We fly from Dallas to San Francisco and then on to Hong Kong where Josh and Knox will meet us. Knox is very excited to travel with his dad to meet G-Pa and G-Ma. Then we’ll travel together by train, plane and bus to reach their home where Leah and Violet will meet us. We’re excited to spend Christmas with them this year. We hope you’ll pray for strength and health (two things we don’t take for granted) and for God’s blessings upon every part of our trip.
Speaking of this season of the year, here is our family Christmas card:
We had this picture taken at Nick and Sarah’s wedding last July. Given how we are spread out between Dallas, Chicago, California, and Asia, it’s a small miracle to get everyone together in the same place at the same time. Don’t know when that might happen in 2015. If it does, we’ll take a picture–fast!
One quick testimony. A few days ago we received a note from a pastor who is facing some big decisions. After Ray wrote him, he wrote back and said this:
Thank you for your note. It was very encouraging. I read it and thought, “He really does get it.” Then I printed it out for my wife, and she got a little choked up reading it. Part of your ministry these days is to encourage pastors, and you definitely did it this time.
Thank you for being part of the Keep Believing Prayer Team. Let us know how you are doing and how we can pray for you.
God bless you! It’s time for us to go to Asia.
Merry Christmas!
Ray and Marlene
