Bible Bus Update–April
April 17, 2009
It’s been over a month since my last Bible Bus update. In January I committed to reading the whole Bible book by book. I’m not following any particular plan, simply reading one book at a time from beginning to end. Since my last update I have read the following books: Leviticus, Joshua, Judges, Hosea, Psalms, Amos, 1 Corinthians, Colossians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John.
I’m intentionally reading through these books as fast as I reasonably can. That’s a departure from my usual practice of reading a chapter and thinking about whatever catches my eye. I just keep reading no matter what. I find that helps me stay on track in the longer books.
