Baked Oatmeal

Marlene made this for breakfast this morning. It’s an ideal Christmas treat for the whole family. Tasty, filling, and very healthy.

Mix these dry ingredients in a bowl:

3 cups oats
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt

Add these to the dry ingredients:

2 slightly beaten eggs
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup butter or margarine melted
1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

Put in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.

It’s a great treat. On a cold morning, this will fill you up, warm you up, and get your day started on a positive note.
