Anchor Books for Prison Fellowship

May 21, 2008

Prison FellowshipTen years ago we started a ministry partnership with Prison Fellowship that continues to this day In the beginning we gave away copies of “What a Christian Believes” and “Keep Believing” to inmates who responded to an offer in the Inside Journal, a newspaper published by Prison Fellowship and distributed in prisons across the country.

Hope you are doing well and God is blessing your ministry. We continue to put An Anchor for the Soul in the hands of many, many prisoners! I am down to my last two cases so if you still have some available from your last printing, I’d love to get more and continue sending them out. I probably have room here for as many as 10-12 cases, or whatever you can spare.

Thank you for this great resource!

Many blessings,

Skip Olson at the book depotWhen we started Keep Believing Ministries in April 2006, we envisioned opening a book depot in Chicago where we could stockpile copies of An Anchor for the Soul to be donated for prison ministry, military ministry, disaster relief, and general missionary outreach. You can see the picture of Skip Olson at the book depot holding copies of the book.

I mention this because we want to thank Prison Fellowship for the privilege of working with them, and we want to invite you to let us know how we can serve you through the book depot. We don’t ship individual books to prisoners. We work through ministries so that we can ship large numbers at one time. After receiving this request from Prison Fellowship, we sent them 12 boxes of Anchor books (approx. 1100 copies). Over the years we have received over 12,000 letters from prisoners who have read the book. Many write to say that they have accepted Christ as Savior as a result. If we can help your ministry with copies of this resource, please let us know.
