Anchor at the NATO Summit

Leaders from around the world met in Chicago May 20-21 for the NATO Summit hosted by President Obama. You probably saw pictures of the demonstrations that accompanied those meetings.
This week we learned that An Anchor for the Soul was also part of the NATO Summit. Moody Publishers joined with CRU Global (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) to give provide gift packages to 90 delegates from 23 nations. Each package several items,including a copy of An Anchor for the Soul and the “Jesus Film” on DVD along with this note:
“Please accept this token gift from many of us in the faith community in Chicago in appreciation for your leadership in our world. We want to let you know that there are many Christians praying for you, your safety in our city and your wisdom during you NATO meetings. Cru Chicago, Moody Bible Institute, Vonette Bright (Co-Founder of Cru Global).”
Let’s pray for God to use the book and the DVD in lives of these world leaders.
