Anchor and Human Trafficking

Two days ago I received this note from a friend. This is the first time I can recall Anchor being used to help young girls that have been rescued from trafficking. Most people don’t know much about this “hidden ministry.”

I thought you might like to know that your Anchor for the Soul books will now be in welcome bags for young girls that have been rescued from trafficking. It is my prayer that it changes their lives as it has so many prisoners in the many prisons around the country. 

Many prisons have no bars. May God use these little “gospel books” to draw these young women to Jesus.

I should add one point. The day this note came in, I made a couple of phone calls to donors who had recently helped us get over the top in the Anchor fund. Their excitement in giving really touched me. One person said, “We give to the Anchor project because it is straight evangelism.”
