2:13 PM Thousands are asking, “How long until the Pastor’s Stroll?” Answer: Only 8 days. It all starts at 7:45 AM on Thanksgiving with a continental breakfast followed by the Praise and Prayer service in the Dining Room. The joggers get to run with Pastor Davis, the more-sedated types can do the Pastor’s Stroll with me at 9 AM. It’s going to be fun—lots of new stuff this year. Be there or be square! 9:46 AM Renovation update: Looking out my office window, I can see that the roof on the new portico is being installed. The plywood is down. Soon they will add the red ceramic shingles… Dramatic progress in the new nursery. When I walked past that area this AM, I could hear the new heating system working. The framing is complete and the two doors are in place… . Lots of scaffolding in the gym as they continue to work on the ceiling and the walls… . We’re zipping right along now. The warm weather this week has especially helped the stonemasons working in the portico area. 8:31 AM Doing a radio interview for He’s God and We’re Not at 9:30 AM an KAJN, Cajun radio in Crowley, Louisiana. 6:47 AM Here are a few early columns on the gay rights decision yesterday.
