Only 4 more days till Groundbreaking Sunday!

5:16 PM Just finished a 44-mile bike ride along the I&M Canal from Joliet to Morris and back again. Yesterday I rode 36 miles along the surface streets from Joliet to Romeoville and back. Along the way, I passed the enormous Statesville Prison—an imposing structure. I prayed as I rode by for the men inside and for a chance to share Christ by means of An Anchor for the Soul. Yesterday the temperature on my bike odometer topped out at a rather warm 107 degrees. Today was much cooler—a balmy 96 degrees, bu the humidity made the return trip quite a chore.
