9:08 AM Getting ready for the two AM services. Rain seems to have stopped. Marlene told me she has read four books so far and is now reading through “The Zion Legacy,” a series by Brock and Bodie Thoene. Breakfast for me this AM was a Payday candy bar and half a Hershey’s chocolate bar. That’s all I need till lunch.

6:52 AM It’s raining in Schroon Lake. Not heavy rain but the clouds so low that you can’t see the Island from the Inn. You really can’t see the lake at all because it’s shrouded in mist… . Today Marlene and I speak to the Inn supervisors at 7:30 AM, then I preach twice this AM, we have lunch in Chesterton with Wayne and Ruthie Lewis, then supper tonight with Mike and Betsi Calhoun, and I speak to the Campground staff at 9:30 P.M.
