5:26 PM Wednesday Shout-Out to Vickie Nelson, Patricia Saffold, Steve Zoller, Paul Ungaretti, Ken Aycock, and to Laura Green. 2:45 PM Calling all men! My topic tomorrow mornig at First Watch will be “Jesus on the Job.” We serve breakfast starting at 5:55 AM. 2:39 PM Here are a few examples of the “Church in many places” via the Internet: Ed Sagan watched the Sunday service from his hotel room in Xiamen, China (See the entry for January 30 below). A Presbyterian pastor in Australia asks if he can use material from my series on “The Apostles’ Creed” in his own preaching. (Answer: Absolutely. that’s why we put the material on the Internet.) We donated two copies of “An Anchor for the Soul” that are being sent to a Marine unit in Baghdad. We received a request from Seoul, South Korea to translate one of my articles into Korean and Japanese. This note came from Ghana:

Good morning Pastor, Thank you very much for messages you’ve been sending to me. As I have told you before, I am a Local preacher at my Church, Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Osu North Branch. Last two week Sunday, 23/01/2005 I was to preach on the theme “Proclaim the good news of Christ” I found every part of your message “You Will Be My Witnesses” appropriate for the occasion and I preached on it. Response from the congregation was very good. Pastor, continue to educate many people just as I am well blessed by your messages. God richly bless you. Henry

An email arrived from Beijing requesting a Bible. 2:30 PM Here are some new entries on the Crosswalk weblog: First We Pray The Incredible Journey of Faith My Post-China Reading and Viewing List Baptism—A Pastor’s Viewpoint Riding the Tiger
