5:23 PM We received $16,000 in gifts to the Building Fund on Sunday. 1:15 PM Pat Buchanan is absolutely right about General Boykin. 11:19 AM Mary Gaskill reports that over the weekend, 40 5th-6th graders put together 78 blankets and Bibles that will be given to the DCFS shelter. They cut out the fabric for the blankets and then wrapped a blanket and a Bible together. These will given to children who have been temporarily placed in the shelter for their protection. 9:31 AM I’m doing an interview at 5:20 PM today on KGFT-FM in Colorado Springs. 9:30 AM Big news! I came to church this morning and saw that huge steel beams were erected yesterday for the new portico. If all goes well, major stonework will begin later this week. 7:30 AM David Limbaugh discusses the war against Christianity in America and what is at stake in the outcome. An excerpt:

Our Christian roots make clear that it is no accident that America is the freest and most prosperous nation in the history of the world – which is why the secularists have such a compelling interest to revise history and conceal the Christian influence. No matter how ingeniously crafted the Constitution was, the framers warned that it was made only for a moral and religious people. Which means that if we abandon our absolute standards of right and wrong – the Judeo Christian ethic – in the interest of modern day notions of tolerance and diversity, we’ll remove the foundation upon which our liberties are built.

7:20 AM Ben Patterson explains the great value of memorizing Scripture.
