6:48 PM Just received this update on the junior high missions trip to Camp Nathanael in Emmalena, KY. The report comes from Roy Hodson, director of the mission that runs the camp:

Dear Ray and Marlene, We gladly welcomed a great group of kids from Calvary last night. Their trip was tough with lots of rain. Anyway… its been sunny today and they’ve worked hard. Darin is a fine leader and handles things well. They got a lot done today! Thanks Marlene for the “hello” you sent through one of the young ladies. She was faithful to deliver it soon after they arrived. I know you’re praying for them. We’re trusting the Lord for a great week. Roy

12:32 PM A few weeks ago we received this request from Paul Sturgis, a missionary serving with ABWE at their home office in Pennsylvania:

I am also active as a volunteer with the US Army Reserve serving as a Family Readiness Group coordinator for the 365th Engineering Bn, USAR. This outfit has recently been activated and is currently (and for the next year) serving at Camp Liberty in Iraq. We send care packages to the soldiers and I would like to include your book if this is possible. I have also received Gospels of John from the Pocket Testament League and some New Testaments from the Gideons. Could you please send me copies of your book that we could give to these soldiers in Iraq? There are approx. 130 soldiers in the Company. Any number that you could give would certainly be appreciated.

Doreen Mahlstedt reports that we sent 130 copies of “An Anchor for the Soul” this week. 11:37 AM Tuesday shout-out to Ben Davidhizar, Tom and Janine Throssel in Bolivia, Bill and Jo Thomson in Towaco, NJ, Yvonne Lewis in Russellville, AL, Dan and Sandy Spisiak, John and Amy Bax, Stan and Nicole Hendricks, Carrie Cleaver, Rosemary Turner, Bob Hill, Jennifer Smith, Dave and Jeanine Slinkman, Joel Eisner and Matt Schantz.
